How can it help to manage the COVID-19 pandemic?

SF2S and SF2H have drafted a joint opinion on the materials for making Type I protective masks in this shortage situation.

The manufacture of fabric masks and their possible resterilization are inadequate to ensure the protection of users. The conditions of use of non-woven SMS protective masks are described in the notice and should not be substituted for caregivers for masks meeting the EN 14683 standard.
