DNALytics is a Belgian startup active in massive data analysis. They developed interactive maps that allow to appreciate the evolution of the propagation of COVID-19 in Belgium. The objective is to have a real-time view of the epidemic at the national level, as well as at the municipality level, in order to be as precise as possible.
DNALytics also wants to include information about the hospitals resources available (beds, respirators, monitoring systems…), number of death and healings, average age of complications. Ultimately, the tool will be able to predict the next contagion hotspot thanks to Telco data.
The application has been developed in collaboration with KULeuven, UCLouvain and Savics.
DNALytics has launched a campaign to collect the perception of the Belgian population regarding their initiative. They also want to communicate massively about their application in order to collect as much data as possible to enrich the provided information.
DNALytics application can give a precise overview of the current situation as well as a prospective look on the epidemic evolution and the available resources to face it.
